Therapy For Young Adults, Adults, Therapists, and Those in Helping Professions
Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy For Adults
Licensed in both CA & FL, I work with adults to help them better understand themselves, others, their emotions, and the challenges that are keeping them stuck. Whether you are new to therapy or are looking for a new therapist, it is my goal to create an experience where you feel that I get you, understand what you’re struggling with, and can help get you to where you want to be.
Therapy with me includes exploring your identities and values that are meaningful to you, while identifying how your life is aligned with them. We will explore aspects of your history and development that may be impacting how you currently view yourself and how you relate to others. We establish treatment goals together and I strive to center our work in meeting those goals. I also bring an approach into my work that’s tailored to meet your personalized needs while also considering how the way we live our daily lives directly impacts our moods and overall functioning. This can include looking at sleep patterns, nutrition, hydration, exercise, social media/internet use, social connection, and coping/self-care practices. All of the work that we do is rooted in scientific practice and will be tailored to meet your needs.
Common Outcomes From Individual Therapy
Common outcomes that I often see with those that I work with include greater connection, improvement in relationships, ability to be more present for yourself and others, reinstilled sense of safety, calmness, feeling more grounded in life, needed healing from past challenges, increased vulnerability in relationship with others, greater connection to who you are, what makes you you, what’s important to you, and aligning your life with all of the above. Clients that I work with find themselves living their lives more authentically, by way of improving their relationship with themselves and others and finding who they are and what’s important to them. Additionally, they have found that they are making intentional decisions every day and needed changes to improve their overall health and wellness.
I believe we can all benefit from therapy, whether it’s to address specific and current life challenges, build on coping strategies, have a space where our voice is heard, explore who we are, and to address ongoing challenges that have been keeping us stuck in a life that feels less than ideal. I also believe in a holistic approach to treatment, which incorporates who you are as a whole person. The mind, body, social, and spiritual connection are in constant interaction and have a profound impact on how we function, feel, engage in relationships, and view the world. I would love to hear what you are needing at this time and invite you to connect with me.
What To Expect After A Consultation
After the consultation call and if we decide to move forward in our work together, I recommend that we meet weekly throughout the initial stages of our work. The reasoning behind this is supported by research and effectiveness of treatment as this helps to build our therapeutic rapport more quickly, gets you more quickly to a place of feeling some relief in your life, and begin to see changes happen more quickly. The research shows that clinically significant improvements should occur within 12-15 sessions, where you likely should start feeling a significant relief in symptoms/experiences that were bringing you to therapy in the first place. When it makes sense to taper down our frequency of meeting, we will then collaboratively move our meeting time to biweekly, once every 3 weeks, monthly, and then likely to graduating from therapy. After we begin to work weekly together for at least the 12-15 initial sessions, you will never be “forced” into a frequency of meeting. I will consistently work with you on what you are needing and what makes the most sense given your current situation. It is my goal to create a healthy relationship with you!
Individual Therapy For Therapists
And Therapy For Those in the Helping Profession and Caretaking Roles
I am passionate about supporting therapists and those in the helping professions/caretaking roles just like you 🙂 I have been a former Internship Training Director and have been an individual/group supervisor for many years. Working with those in the profession has been a lifelong interest of mine and one that I feel honored to be a part of.
I offer therapy sessions that go beyond the foundational skills if this is not what you are needing; if this is something you are needing, I’m here for that too! Of course our work will be tailored to where you are at, how I can provide consultation and therapeutic support, and I will even provide coaching in various areas of your life if that would be beneficial to your goals. I look forward to meeting with you and hearing your story!
